The 2019 Real Rider Cup, held for the first time in Fair Hill, Maryland, was a massive success. Twenty-five riders represented five teams and raised over $55,000 for our beneficiaries: Retired Racehorse Project, New Vocations and our hosts, Fair Hill Thoroughbred Show.

A large and enthusiastic crowd enjoyed a stunning late summer afternoon watching Clovis Crane (riding bareback!) capture the individual title aboard his Empire Road, with the Team Competition going to Team Farm & Racing Managers. Click here for video

This year’s Real Rider Cup has a new venue!!  We have moved to Fair Hill where we will kick off the weekend for the Fair Hill Thoroughbred Show on September 20th, 2019.

“Fair Hill Thoroughbred Show is a 501c3 organization supporting riders of Thoroughbreds by providing affordable show fees, scholarships, stakes classes,  and prizes in every division. By supporting riders of OTTBs we are helping more OTTBs find second careers.”

Date – September 20th, 2019
Time – 4:30 warm up.  Show jumping starts at 5:00pm. Prize giving and party directly after.

Cash bar and food trucks on site – with live music! We have three beverage companies on site – Sagamore Spirit will be offering a signature cocktail, Valhalla Brewery and Chateau bu-de Winery and Vineyard will be offering beer and wine!
