Sean Clancy is a writer, editor, publisher and owner of ST Publishing, Inc., parent company of the thisishorseracing.com Internet site. It seems as though that would be enough for one man (!!!), but he also runs Sean Clancy Bloodstock and Riverdee Stable, specializing in turf and steeplechase horses. Riverdee Stable includes Grade 3 winner Eagle Poise, Grade 2 chaser Valdez and Saratoga winner Apse. A former champion steeplechase jockey, Sean rode Eclipse Award winner Flat Top, bought and sold two-time Eclipse Award winner Good Night Shirt and won his own Eclipse Award for writing when chronicling an estate auction of Hall of Fame trainer Sidney Watters in 2009. He lives in Middleburg, Va. with his wife Anne and son Miles, but can be found wherever horses run.
