Kerry grew up in Massachusetts having always had a passion for nature and animals, especially horses. Kerry’s keen interest in horses carried her from Pony Club to the international level of Three-Day Eventing. This dedication resulted in winning medals on the U.S. Equestrian Team at the Olympic Games, World Championships and Pan American Games.
Kerry has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While studying Nursing, she enrolled in drawing and sculpting classes. Always having a love of art, Kerry felt she had to pursue her competitive riding career first. During those years training her horses from youngsters to the international level, she developed a deep understanding and knowledge of their very nature, conformation and movement. The years of analyzing horses and riders as a trainer has helped develop her sculpting and painting, bringing them to life and capturing their very essence.
Kerry perceived her years of competitive riding as an art form, always trying to show the elegance and grace of the equine athlete. Kerry now brings this sense of elegance and beauty to her sculptures and paintings. Kerry currently resides in Egremont, Massachusetts, devoting most of her time to pursuing and developing her art.
