Purchased for $110,000 from the Keeneland Yearling Sale by Winstar Farm, Antimony was given to their trainer Destin Heath when a career on the racetrack did not pan out. Heath trained the gelding as a lead pony, and the pair have accompanied Kentucky Derby winners Always Dreaming and Justify to post, among many others. And here’s something you don’t see every day – an appearance in a McDonald’s commercial is also on their resume. When not busy ponying, they’re always working on improving their roping skills – at which they clearly excel!
