Ashley Watts has been involved in the equine industry for over 30 years. She grew up riding hunters and jumpers on the west coast. As a teenager, Ashley rode and showed many ottb's and had a lot of success with a mare named "Liftoff." Ashley went to Cazenovia College in upstate NY where she competed on the Varsity Open Hunt Seat Team and received a degree in Business Management with a Specialization in Equine Studies. Upon graduating from Cazenovia, Ashley worked for many top professionals in the industry and also abroad in Europe learning about importing horses in the US. Eventually Ashley ended up in KY and has since established Liftoff Equestrian, LLC where she teaches and trains students and horses for the Hunter and Jumper disciplines. Ashleys facility is the host for Canter KY where they retrain ottb's for their second career from the track. Ashley is married to Justin and they have a son named Hunter. They have 3 dogs, 2 cats, horses, ponies, a mini horse, 2 pigs, a goat and some cows.
