Chelsea grew up riding western and competed on the NBHA circuit in upstate New York. In the last few years, she has jumped to the hunter/jumper circuit, which has brought new experiences and opportunities with her quarter horse mare. She currently works for the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation as the Director of Equine Programs, overseeing the correctional facility equine vocational training programs. Her mount Cannwyll ("Candle" in Welsh) comes from the TRF Second Chances at the Lowell Correctional Facility for women in Florida.
