I have been riding since I was in elementary school and grew up in the hunter world, but when I got my first horse as a 16th birthday present, I was introduced to dressage and eventing as well as hunter trials. He and my first TB taught me so much and took me to some fantastic places. My breeds of choice couldn't be more more different, clydesdales and TBs, but both have my heart. My horses continue to live at my family's farm and bring everyone so much joy. I currently compete in eventing with my 15yr old TB, Manny, who I got as a 3yr old. He has a heart of gold and has entertained all my adventures in the hunters, jumpers, fox hunting, eventing, and even side saddle! My husband and I are both volunteer firefighters outside of work and have an almost two year old son, so finding a horse that fits into our busy life is a tough task. The TB is truly a special breed and I can't imagine my life without one.
