I am a third year biology student at UCR, and have been riding for about six years now. I rode a little bit in France, where I am from, but not in a serious manner at all. I moved to the US when I was 12, after my mother received a job offer located in California. After having my lease horse taken away from me abruptly, I decided to buy and train a young off the track with the help of my current trainers. Apollo tried to buck me off the very first time I rode him, but still decided that he was the horse for me. He then came on trial, and was a gentleman the entire time. We then added him as a member of our family, as a little 4 year old, totally green but hardworking young horse. Training him has been very rewarding, even if sometimes he reminds me that he is in fact a sassy horse. He is awesome, and I cannot wait to see what he teaches me next
