Bio
When I was in middle school, my dad ,who was a farrier, rescued a big neglected gray thoroughbred. My dad gave this horse, Fred, to me. Fred was a horse of a lifetime. Soaring over anything put in front of him, Fred gave a young awkward girl wings . This horse became my gateway into the thoroughbred world. Because of him, I was able to work for Lilith Boucher, Jazz Napravnik, Michael Matz, Jonathan Sheppard, Tom Proctor and Michael Trombetta. From these great teachers, I gained a solid foundation in galloping, foxhunting, jumping and racing. I am now an assistant trainer and rider for Michael Trombetta at Fairhill. In Supporting Throughbred aftercare programs I aim to help everyone find their “Fred”. My former steeplechase horse, Sermon of Love , now 20 years young, will be my mount. We can’t wait to raise money for TB after care and compete in the Real Rider Cup.
