Bio
Horses have always been a huge part of my life. I got my first horse off the track when I was 12 years old. I grew up in Ohio where I was active in United States Pony Club, 4-H, and eventing. I found my way to Beulah Park just after graduating high school. It was there where I learned the art of galloping and breezing race horses. I spent fifteen years working on the track as an assistant trainer, exercise rider, and I rode in a couple races. These days I'm still involved in the Thoroughbred industry but on the other side of things. I work at the horse sales to help pick out the next future champions and I work for Brendan Walsh Racing. My passion now is foxhunting. At Long Run Woodford Hounds I am a Master of Foxhounds and a whipper-in, always on a Thoroughbred. I have a small but wonderful string of horses, including Arklow the millionaire turf horse whom I partnered with to win the 2023 Retired Racehorse Project Field Hunter Division and People's Choice Award. Roxy, my RRC horse, is a wonderful little mare who loves to gallop, jump, and chase hounds. You'll often see my nine year old daughter, Cora, hunting with me. When not doing horse things, you can find us at the baseball field rooting on my eight year old son, Eli.
