Bio
Alison is the owner and trainer of AMC Equestrian in Cochranville, PA, where she breaks and trains young horses and teaches riders of all disciplines. She is an FEI Event rider and competes at 4th level dressage. Alison grew up near Penn National Race Course and got her first off-the-track Thoroughbred at 13. She galloped race horses in high school, was heavily involved with Pony Club, and continues to focus on retraining Thoroughbreds for Eventing and other careers that best suit them. Alison moved to Chester County PA 20 years ago to work for the area’s top eventing professionals. Here she also discovered Foxhunting and Steeplechasing and has raced as an amateur jockey. Alison has competed and trained horses in several Retired Racehorse Project TB Makeovers, with 2 horses from AMC winning the Best of Delaware Park high score award. She will be riding one of those Makeover graduates, American Colossus.
