Sergio was born In Sao Paulo/Brazil and moved to Kentucky in 1987. He was fortunate to meet and work for people that encouraged him to travel the world while working with horses. He settled back in Kentucky where he is now a Partner and Manager of Hidden Brook Farm in Paris, Kentucky. He is married to Dr. Karen Wolfsdorf and has two daughters, Isabela and Nathalie. "My Family, Hidden Brook Farm and I, have always promoted the importance of the retraining or retirement of racehorses. I have ridden horses for most of my life, mostly Thoroughbreds. I still ride everyday that I can, compete occasionally and everyday that I do that, the horses remind me why I do what I do.
