Meet Natalie, a passionate 17 year old equestrian and avid FFA member from Delaware. Whose heart belongs to Off-the-Track Thoroughbreds (OTTBs). As a supporter and competitor of the Retired Racehorse Project, since 2020, she has immersed herself in the world of retraining racehorses, guiding 2 of them through a successful transition and currently has 2 more she is bringing along. Beyond her equestrian pursuits, Natalie's active involvement in the FFA exemplifies her passion for agriculture and leadership. She has been able to share her experiences working with OTTBs through her school's FFA chapter, to spread more awareness about what life is like after the racetrack for these horses.
