Bio
Kaya MacLeod is the current president of the University of Kentucky Eventing Team. After starting riding at age 5, she quickly turned the pony phase into a lifelong passion. As the president of UK Eventing, she fosters a community of young equestrians balancing school and eventing while representing the Wildcats around the country at many USEA recognized events! Last year, Kaya purchased her first thoroughbred, Maisie, and has fallen in love with the class, spirit, and athleticism of the breed. Kaya is estatic to be supporting thoroughbred aftercare at her first Real Rider Cup and seeing the breed thrive in their second careers. Kaya loves watching racing and learning about the industry, and is eager to continue to weave horses into her personal and professional career as she begins her senior year at Kentucky this fall!
