Bio
I grew up not far from Churchill Downs and quickly developed a love for the horses. Although I didn't start riding consistently until college, horses consumed my life. I adopted my first horse off the track at the age of 19 and my hobby turned into a lifestyle. I started exercise riding for Ian Wilkes in 2014 primarily based out of Churchill Downs. While riding the racehorses was a passion, I have learned that watching them develop off of the racetrack and placing them in sport horse homes is truly where my heart lies. I have started and rehomed several thoroughbreds off the track and competed in the Retired Racehorse Project in 2019, 2024 and 2025. Most recently, I won the field Hunter division with Street Ready, a horse I galloped during his racing career. I owe much of my horsemanship to these gifted animals and love showcasing their tenacity and diversity with others.
