Hi! I'm Madison Thompson, a 16-year-old Eventer. I'm currently a C2 in Pony Club and an active member of Young Riders. Two years ago, I began retraining my first off-track Thoroughbred (OTTB), and that experience sparked a deep passion for working with young horses—especially OTTBs. Last summer, I took that passion a step further by interning at New Vocations, where I had the incredible opportunity to ride and work with multiple young OTTBs every day. It was there that I met Dynamic One—a standout racehorse owned by Phipps Stables, who earned over $744,000 on the track and even competed in the 2021 Kentucky Derby! In August 2024, I was honored to be selected as Dynamic One’s adopter, and we've since begun our exciting journey into his second career. We're now preparing to compete the Retired Racehorse Project's Thoroughbred Makeover, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to help showcase the potential of these amazing horses.
