Bio
Madeleine grew up riding Saddlebreds since the age of nine. After attending college at the University of Kentucky, Madeleine spent time working for Bluewater Farm prepping yearlings, leading her to develop a passion for Thoroughbreds. Entering the world of eventing five years ago, she has grown an even stronger appreciation for Thoroughbred horses and is a huge proponent of aftercare. Madeleine continues to work the sales for various consignments and spends the majority of her free time riding her horse, Doctor Rap, aka "Smart Talk" or "Smarty", a 19-year-old gelding by Smarty Jones. Smarty has competed in eventing, show jumping, and up to third level dressage. After a successful career on the racetrack, he shows the true versatility of TBs, especially at an older age.
