Current Job: Riding Instructor

Current Company: North Country Horses

Olivia developed her passion for horses and horsemanship through the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA), competing throughout high school with North Country Horses. She continued her equestrian career at SUNY Cobleskill, where she rode on the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) team under the guidance of Ray Welihan while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Therapy. Olivia served as Captain of the SUNY Cobleskill IHSA team during her junior and senior years. She also held the role of Public Relations Coordinator, managing the team's social media presence and helping promote team achievements, events, and student engagement within the equestrian community. Following graduation, Olivia relocated to Saratoga Springs, where she combined her love of teaching and horse care into a multifaceted equine career. As a riding instructor, she works with aspiring youth riders, helping them build confidence, develop strong horsemanship skills, and achieve their riding goals. In addition to teaching, Olivia serves as a rider for the New York based New Vocations Team, where she is involved in the rehabilitation, retraining, and aftercare of Off-the-Track Thoroughbreds (OTTBs). Through her work, she helps prepare retired racehorses for successful transitions into second careers and forever homes.
