I have been a lifelong horse enthusiast and have been riding since age 9. I bought my first OTTB in 1999 and have never looked back since. I have dabbled in dressage and eventing for many years and I have been an exercise rider for my husband's racing stable for the past 13 years. We bought Sorry Charlie as a weanling and he has been with us ever since. After suffering a serious injury in a riding accident, Sorry Charlie was the first horse that I climbed back aboard and broke to ride. He raced only 5 times as a four year old, with one win. Charlie made it very clear that he was ready to move on to a new career, and so I decided to retire him from racing with the intent to event him. It's taken us some time, but he is SO worth the wait!
