Sharon Dominguez

Sharon Dominguez grew up with horses. Her father, Robert Wyatt, still trains Standardbreds in Harrington, Delaware, and her mother Bonnie Keller teaches Western riding and horsemanship at her farm, Heartland Equestrian in Frederica, Delaware. Sharon has galloped for trainers Randy Nunley, Bessie Gruwell, Hammy Smith, Jonathan Sheppard and Graham Motion. After graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Advertising & Graphic Design, she met her future husband, Ramon Dominguez, at Delaware Park. Sharon stopped riding in 2003 and now lives in Saratoga Springs, New York with Ramon and their sons Alex and Matthew.

Sharon returns this year as a member of Team Freestyle aboard the popular Sir J.J., who competes in a war bridle (no bit or headstall).
