Parker is the 15 year old son of champion trainer Sanna Neilson and champion jockey/trainer Ricky Hendriks, and attends Westtown School.
Parker’s racing career began pony racing on Mookie Monster, enjoying many wins on her. He also rode Maryland Hunt Cup winner Guts for Garters in the Field Master Division, winning leading honors in that division the last two seasons in the Delaware Valley. This spring, Parker rode Lawn Ranger to four victories, earning them the leading junior horse of the Maryland Steeplechase Association. Lawn Ranger is a retired OTTB who raced as a 2yo in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf. Lawn Ranger now enjoys a life as a foxhunter for Parker and his mother.
Last year whilst working for trainer Kathy Neilson, he attended the British Racing School and rode a pony race in Deauville, France. This summer he has been working for Hall of Fame trainer Jonathan Sheppard, as well as riding for his mother.
Parker will be riding Lawn Ranger in The Real Rider Cup.
