Since 2017, the Real Rider Cup has raised over half a million dollars for Thoroughbred aftercare with a spirit of collaboration and celebration. This year, we adjusted our date due to proximity to the Fourth of July holiday and in doing so, inadvertently encountered calendar conflicts that impact a significant portion of our Kentucky-based supporters.

It is important to us to give our riders and supporters the celebratory atmosphere that the Real Rider Cup has become known for and so, regrettably, the RRC Lexington organizing committee has made the decision to cancel this year’s event. Riders and donors have been contacted directly.

We look forward to 2025 in Lexington and will adjust our planning process to avoid this happening in the future. In the meantime, we are setting our sights on producing Fair Hill in September and we thank you for your support and understanding.
