I'm 24 years old and have been working around Thoroughbreds since I was 15. I got my first OTTB at 13, and I was hooked; I fell in love with the breed and the racing side of things. I first met Jack in 2023, when I started working with Pastured Place after graduating from college. I've always had a soft spot for red TB's, especially when they have a strong personality, so naturally it did not take long for Jackie to become my favorite horse at the farm. Jack and I enjoy playing around in the jumping scene, fox hunting from time to time, and nice long gallops in the sunshine. Having Jack as my friend and being a part of the Pastured Place team has been crucial in my transition from playing with racehorses and OTTBs as a job to working a 9-5 in corporate America. After a long day at the computer, Jack is always there to remind me to touch grass and make me laugh.
