Bio
I’m Maddie Caiazzo. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Maryland, where I am double majoring in environmental science and agricultural economics. I have grown up on the racetrack my whole life with my dad, who is a trainer. I have also been riding my whole life and enjoy eventing my horse. I grew up in Harford County 4-H and USPC where I achieved my C1 rating. I have always enjoyed watching horses train early in the morning at Fair Hill with my dad and going to the races. This summer I even got my groom’s license and got to help at the races. While I’m home from school, I help at the Fair Hill Equine Therapy Center, where I assist in operating the hyperbaric oxygen chamber, among many of the other therapies, and pony on the track.
