Bio
My name is Chelsey O’Brien. I am a horse trainer from Berryville, VA, representing Pastured Place in the Real Rider Cup. I specialize in the retraining, rehabbing, and rehoming of off-track Thoroughbreds and have been involved in many facets of the Thoroughbred industry from breeding and foaling to second (or even third) careers. I am deeply passionate about Thoroughbred aftercare and am honored to represent an organization that embodies what it means to be dedicated to that mission. I grew up riding hunter/jumpers and equitation and am now an all-around rider who also competes in western events such as barrel racing, ranch work, and western dressage. I’m so excited to compete on Pastured Place’s The Pepsodent Show, aka Peppy.
