Chelsea's love for horses started at an early age and continued through her life. She rode with Jack and Katie Benson at Briarwood Farm in New Jersey and competed in the equitation divisions as a junior. After graduating college, she began a business boarding, training, and teaching riding lessons. A main focus was restarting OTTBs. Chelsea found a passion for racehorses and loves the process of giving them a second career. Omen has had a successful show career post racetrack. Together they have competed up to the 1.2m jumpers successfully and have had opportunities to ride with some of the greats such as George Morris, Anne Kursinski, and Bernie Traurig. Chelsea valued her time as a vet-tech at The Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center and is proud to represent this team and make a difference for retired racehorses.
