I am a sophomore at Hereford High School and have been around horses for most of my life. My parents train mostly steeplechase horses which is where I got my horse, Biedermeier. I help ride and work with them in the barn, go fox hunting regularly, and compete in both flat and jump junior races and hope to be a steeplechase jockey one day. My horse Biedermeier started as a flat runner for Todd Pletcher and was purchased by Riverdee Stables to run over fences for the rest of his career.
