Jocelyn Brooks is Director of Bloodstock for Flying Dutchmen Racing. Jocelyn has competed in the Real Rider cup 3 times! Her previous mount, Perpetual Optimism, has retired after 4 RRC's, so this year she will ride New Vocations Graduate and RRP Thoroughbred Makeover Graduate Maryland Pride ("Rye"). Maryland Pride was bred at Sagamore Farm where Jocelyn worked in Maryland. As Chief of Staff for Sagamore Racing based at historic Sagamore Farm in Maryland, Jocelyn ran Sagamore Racing’s Next Move program. This program retrained retired Sagamore athletes for second careers such as dressage, hunters/jumpers, eventing and even therapy work. She is competing in the 2025 RRP Thoroughbred Makeover with Happy Farm, another of her Sagamore kids.
