I grew up on a dairy farm in Western Massachusetts. Horses were a passion of mine since the very beginning. I used to teach my 4H calves how to lunge and jump over things in hand. I worked and rode at a hunter/jumper barn in high school and got my first OTTB mare. The life lessons that horse taught me were immeasurable. I went to college at Wilson College, where I rode IHSA and graduated with my Bachelors in Equine Management. I have worked in the industry from 2008 to present, whether it was on a breeding farm or with show horses. I started working at Country Life in 2017. This is where I met Flash McCaul. I love this area for the widespread horse community. I experienced my first Retired Racehorse Project Makeover in 2018 with my mare Miss Spiderweb. We showed in the show hunters. The following year, Flash retired from racing and I was honored to have him as my RRP Makeover mount for 2019. He showed in the show hunters and dressage. After the Makeover, I took him cross country schooling, and he loved it, so we started our baby eventing career! We have competed locally, with Fair Hill being one of our favorite venues! We are currently showing beginner novice at schooling horse trials. The next step is to do a recognized event, with a long-term goal of getting to the AECs. Flash is one of the kindest horses I have met. He is very honest and tries his heart out; as I said before, it is just an honor to have this horse as a partner. Together we are learning the sport of eventing!
