I grew up not far from Churchill Downs and quickly developed a love for the horses. Although I didn't start riding consistently until college, horses consumed my life. I adopted my first horse off the track at the age of 19 and my hobby turned into a lifestyle. I started exercise riding for Ian Wilkes in 2014 primarily based out of Churchill Downs. While riding the racehorses continues to be a passion, I have learned that watching them develop off of the racetrack and placing them in sport horse homes is truly where my heart lies. I have helped start and rehome several thoroughbreds off the track and competed in the Retired Racehorse Project in 2019 with my main man, Thatcher Street. Thatcher and I shared life on the track and when retirement came I knew he would always have a home at my farm. After placing in the top 5 in the Field Hunter division, we have done a few hunter paces but mainly just enjoyed retirement together at my farm in Simpsonville KY. This year I am looking to get back to competing Thatcher and thought the Real Rider Cup would be a great goal with a great cause.
