#40 Logan Bearden

I am super excited to ride in my first Real Rider Cup, and honored Mel is allowing me the ride on her longtime partner. I am originally from San Francisco Bay Area, where I grew up at my parents Eventing training facility. Their go-to horse for all levels of eventing, whether it was their personal upper level horse, or a kids first horse, was the OTTB. I first got the TB bug from my parents, grandparents, and great grandparents who were also breeders in CA in the mid 1900s. I began grooming and galloping at Pleasanton Fair grounds and Golden Gate fields right after I graduated high school in 2014. Since then I have galloped for large barns in CA, SC, and Fair Hill. Currently I gallop for my fiancé, Justin Rivera, and spend my time helping him with his string of race horses at fair hill. In addition to that ,I have my own eventing and training barn that backs up to Fair Hill. I teach all levels of riders on mainly OTTBs!
