Stephanie is originally from Chester County, Pennsylvania where she grew up riding with local hunter and eventing trainers. Throughout high school and college she was immersed in Thoroughbred breeding at local Castle Rock Farm and later attended St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. Currently, Stephanie is a veterinarian employed by Mark T. Ketner, DVM and Associates in Colts Neck, New Jersey. She spends the majority of her time treating racehorses stabled at Monmouth Park and also works with surrounding Thoroughbred breeding farms in Monmouth County. Stephanie's Real Rider Cup mount is Lucky Balladier, an 11 year old New Jersey bred turf horse who made 178k in 45 starts. Lucky was retired from racing early in his 9 year old year and has since taken well to his new career as beloved pet and hopeful show jumper. Although Lucky is still green to horse showing, we hope to help put on a great event, raise funds to support aftercare programs, and help promote the rehoming of older OTTBs. Please wish us luck and help support us in this fabulous cause! Many thanks to all of our sponsors; friends, family, and the many individuals of the Wasabi Ventures Stables ownership group! Also thank you to Doug Nunn for donating the use of his truck and trailer!
